Caravanners love getting out doors, so Jayco Gippsland are proud to sponsor locals Bowls tournaments and golf clubs and of course we are major sponsors of the Bairnsdale Cycling Club.
Supporting Australian Sport
Jayco is a proud supporter of Australian sport, holding a special passion for cycling and basketball.
It all began in 1992 when Jayco financed an unknown female cyclist to the Barcelona Olympics. She went on to win Australia’s first Gold medal in Barcelona, and Kathy Watt became an instant household name.
Later that year, Jayco formed Australia’s very first professional cycling team, including riders such as Olympic gold medallist Dean Woods and Scott McGrory.
As a result, Jayco has been instrumental in helping the sport grow in Australia over the past 2 decades and has supported numerous races throughout the country. Nearly all of Australia’s top riders have ridden for Jayco at some point.
Jayco has also been a supporter of basketball for the past 15 years and is the naming rights sponsor of the Jayco Dandenong Rangers. Since then, Jayco has been working closely with the Club as they grow from strength to strength.
Jayco and the AIS have joined forces to back Australia's next generation of cycling talent. Team Jayco AIS is registered as a UCI Continental Team in the Oceania Region and continues the tradition of excellence in Cycling Australia’s High Performance Program.
